New Home

On the outskirts of Kyiv, there is an unremarkable, densely populated building - a center for displaced people from the Luhansk region who have settled here “temporarily.” Life goes on at its own pace: in the backyard, two young boys, Rostik and Vlad, are trying to catch a mouse in a pile of leaves; two elderly ladies sit on the stairs and recall their past and the usual night spent under shelling; the young residents receive the same type of gifts from foreign partners; strange neighbors are figuring out their “relations” with each other. Life here flows at its own pace, and only strangers stop by the New Home from time to time, filling it more and more.
