A Ukrainian village. A young man Lev lives with his mother in a small household. He is about to marry Mariana but he loans for something bigger, something that contradicts love and happiness. He tries to suppress this feeling, muffle and neutralize it, but at some point the explosion is unavoidable.
KINOSEREDA is an educational project found in 2016 by NGO Contemporary Ukrainian Cinema “CUC”. The project is dedicated to bringing contemporary Ukrainian cinema and its creators to the audience from Ukraine and abroad through workshops, screenings, and public talks. KINOSEREDA supports emerging Ukrainian artists, fostering their development.
